User Experience Design (UX) is the art and science of designing with the aim to improve a person's experience while interacting with a product, such as a website, to emphasize the product's value to that person. At For Users' Sake, we use an iterative process to design your product based on your business requirements and your users' wants and needs. Learn why UX Matters.

For Users' Sake

Our Process

At For Users' Sake, we create websites and apps through a customized User Experience Design (UX) processa six-phased process to design a product based on your business requirements and, more importantly, the wants and needs of the product's users which includes research, planning, design, build & test, user interface design and development. We also leverage aspects of this process in our branding and graphic design services to help you build trust, convey reliability and connect emotionally with your customer.

01 - Research

01 - Discovery

All projects start with learning about your industry, competitors and your business needs. Our findings are used to VALIDATE your idea and determine product requirements.

02 - Planning

02 - Planning

We look at who your main user(s) is by conducting surveys and interviews. in this phase, we also start figuring out how your products should be ORGANIZED.

03 - Design

03 - Design

To determine the best design, we leverage the insights from the Discovery and Planning phases and start SKETCHING on paper, whiteboards - even the stereotypical napkin.

04 - Build/Test

04 - Build & Test

We REFINE your products for success through iterating the design, building prototypes and TESTING with real users.

05 - User Interface (UI)

05 - User Interface (UI)

Once we establish the user experience, we create the user interfacethe access points - graphical, voice-controlled and/or gesture-based - where a user interacts with a design and conduct additional usability tests to ensure the ease of use and pleasurability of your product. Not only do we consider the aesthetic LOOK - which can be based on your existing brand - we strive for the highest level of accessibilitythe design of products, services and environments so they are usable by as many people as possible, especially those who may be differently abled within the project's scope

06 - Development

06 - Development

Based on the approved UX/UI design, the BUILD is done in-house OR by one of our Partner Services with our oversight. This might be the end of the User Experience Design (UX) processa six-phased process to design a product based on your business requirements and, more importantly, the wants and needs of the product’s users but it's not the end of the project.

For Users' Sake wants to ensure your success, so we are also available for SEO/SEMsearch engine optimization (SEO) to improve your visibility on search engines (e.g. Google) and search engine marketing (SEM) to gain website traffic through ads, helping set up your social media foundation and more. Why UX Matters

Companies that prioritize the customer experience generate 60% more profit than their competitors. (Source: Gartner Group)

Putting your customer at the centre of your business is a basic requirement, not just the competitive differentiator it was before 2020. The economy has evolved beyond who has the best product for the best price - it now includes who offers the best experience.

UX Matters | The cost of fixing an error after development is 100x that of fixing it beforehand

Personable, Caring and Genuine! Those are the words that immediately come to mind when thinking of the work and support provided by Kiersten. As a fledgling start-up, we needed a variety of help - from UX Design to Marketing to Project Management - and Kiersten either provided these services herself or helped us find reliable people that she managed on our behalf. We are extremely happy to have developed a long, fruitful and valuable relationship with For Users' Sake. Their services are professional, always timely and responsive, and refreshingly honest. We would not have achieved our goals without such reliable and caring support.
