After decades in business, Carol's Cakes was under new ownership and had recently launched with a new logo (see image on right). For Users' Sake was asked to extend that brand and create a new website with custom cake ordering. As a local bakery, for years people were celebrating special occasions with Carol's Cakes, so we wanted to showcase the range of flavours, sizes and designs. Throughout the site, the main focus is on the products. We also ensured:
- the font size was large enough for their long-standing clients
- the colours were accessible
- the site was responsive for mobile viewing
- their hashtag—#thunderbaysfavouritecake—was prominently used
